EICHTEC-GPS Rendez Vous
Conditions Générales de Vente
1. Generality
The present document define the conditions of sale between the company EICHTEC
and the client. This document is the translation of the text appearing in the
document "condition de vente". In case of conflict between the present
document and its French version, the French version will prevale.
2. Orders
The orders are recorded directly on line on the site www.GPSRendezVous or via
a sales person. During that operation the client must be identified to insure
payment and delivery of merchandise.
3. Validation
The customer can not validate an order without explicitly marking the acceptation
of the conditions of sale check box. That confirmation implies unconditional
acceptation of the present document.
4. Prices shown are inclusif of VAT
Pricing shown on the www.GPSRendezVous.com web site are inclusif of VAT. Pricing
however does not include the shiping and handling fees. Shipping and handling
fees are determined at the time the order is recorded based on the parameters
the customer will have requested. The total value of the VAT amount is shown
at order confrmation and also appears on the invoice.
5. Paiement
Four methods of payment are available on the site. Payment can be made by credit
card, by check, by money order or via Paypal. In case of payment by check or money
order Eichtec will only proceed with shipment once the amount paid is confirmed
available by the bank.
6. Rights to cancelation
The company EICHTEC reserves the right to demand additional identification or
address confirmation documentation before shipping merchandise. The company EICHTEC
reserves the right to cancel any order without justification or notice.
7. Shipping delays
Shipping and handling delays shown on the www.GPSRendezVous.com web site
and provided as guidance only. EICHTEC can in no ways be held responsible for
possible delays being encountered. Eichtec will work at resolving any delivery
problem as rapidly as possible.
8. Merchandise reception
The customer takes ownership of the merchandise upon signing the delivery slip.
It is therefore recommended to verify the integrity of the shipment box and it
content before signing that document. In case of problem the shipment should not
be accepted.
9. 7-days money back garanty plus 7-days of store credit
The law provides the customer with a period of seven (7) days after delivery to
cancel an order and return the merchandise. To make sure customer have made the
right choice and are totaly satisfied with their purchase EICHTEC-GPSRendezVous
doubles that period to 14 days (via a store credit of the merchandise).
The merchandise returned must be complete, in perfect working condition and clean and in
its original and well preserved shiping box.
The return shipment must be done via certified mail and its cost will be the customer's
responsibility.
Any software being part of a returned shipment must be kept untouched in its original and
sealed wrapper. The opposit will result in cancellation of this return policy.
Any return must necessarly be organised with and acknoledged by EICHTEC (via the
"contact and support" page). Without that due process the shipment will not be accepted.
10. Warranty
All electronic instrumentation, in normal use, is covered by a one year waranty.
The waranty does not cover non conformning or abusive usage of the materiel (for
instance submission to a violant chock, a drop, or any rough handling wuld be
considered as such). Accessories are not covered under the waranty.
The customer must contact EICHTEC-GPSRendezVous (using the "contact us"
page on the site) and receive acknoledgement prior to sending back a defective
merchandise. The return address will be determined and noted to the customer via
Email. No material returned without that acknoledgement confirmed via Email will
be accepted. The merchandise must be retuned in its original shipping box. The
return shipment must be made via certified mail and the customer is responsible
for the return shipment fee. A failure diagnostic will be made by EICHTEC or the
original manufacturer of the device. If the failure is determined to be covered under
the waranty the device will be repaired and shipped back to the customer by EICHTEC
or by the original suppier. If the failure is determined not to be cover by the
terms of the warant an estimate of cost for repair will be made available to the
customer.
No waranty applies to software products. Any sotware downloaded directly from
the GPSRendezVous site or recived via mail is considered as acquired definitly.
11. Force majeure
EICHTEC responsibility can not be engaged if the execution or the non-execution
of one or several items described here are due to a case of "force majeure".
12. Ownership transfer
The transfer of ownership title can only take place once full payment is made
by the customer.
13. Governing law
Any ledigation related to the interpretation or execution of the present conditions
of sale shall be governed in accordance with the laws of France. In case of failure
in finding a friendly resolution, the case

15. Documentation non-garantied
EICHTEC engages into providing documentation with the highest level of accuracy. However, the information
source being external, EICHTEC can not garanty or be held responsible for its accuracy. Changes can occur
at any time and without notice. It is recommended to verify the data with the manufacturers directly.
